About Project Ezrah
Project Ezrah has been an organization near and dear to my heart for as long as I can remember. I grew up hearing about all of their great work, and I'm excited to have this opportunity to support them in the way that I know how--through dessert!
Under the guidance of Rabbi Yossi Stern, z"l, Project Ezrah was formed in 2001 in response to the need of community members who were suffering from the international financial downturn. For these neighbors who were in dire need of help with basic and critical living expenses and/or personalized job search assistance, Project Ezrah was there to help. Since its inception, Ezrah has meant help in various and meaningful ways to thousands of Bergen County’s community members. Project Ezrah’s success is seen clearly in the results and effects of its work: the majority of Project Ezrah Employment candidates find meaningful employment and every Financial Management and Assistance client is rewarded with a greater proficiency and understanding of financial budgeting and management.
Project Ezrah is currently working hard to help people who are suffering financial losses due to the pandemic by helping find jobs, financial plan, file unemployment, and more.
Project Ezrah does all of its important work with respect to those who come for help, and I'm grateful to be able to contribute to this wonderful organization.
